In The Kitchen: Pasta Rustico
A personal favorite in our family is creating beautiful pasta dishes and pasta rustico is no exception. It's a super short prep and easy clean up making it an amazing Sunday night meal. So here is a collection of photos and recipe from my Sunday night meal!
-Prep your seasonings. I use Lawry's Seasoning Salt, sea salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
-Prep 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and mix with your whole milk, creamer, and butter
-Pick fresh spinach, and drain the oil from your dehydrated tomatoes
-Chop onion and garlic.
-Boil pasta (penne or ziti)
-sautee your butter, cheese, milk mixture, tomatoes, garlic, onion and spinach. Add in your grilled chicken after the mixture is fragrant.
-Drain pasta and re-pour pasta into your pot.
-Let sauce simmer and pour on to pasta and mix until pasta is covered.
